Goodbye eBay, here comes GBuy

As someone who sells on eBay, let me state: Yippee!!

eBay should be afraid, very afraid. Its track record of software QA has been terrible, and its customer service even worse. For some reason, it treats the buyers, who don't pay it anything, pretty well, but treats the sellers, who do pay its fees, as a herd of captive cash cows.

I expect a stampede in the direction of GBuy, especially if the early reports are favorable. Every eBay PowerSeller is going to want to try it.

The open question remains, can they win over the critical mass of buyers, and in what areas of the market?
