As you've pointed out, there have been missed opertunities in the past. Even this time, he initially lived through two hits by 500 lb bombs. Al-Zawahiri slipped past them a couple of months ago in Pakistan. I think they wanted to eliminate all the risks possible of missing him. "Botton line is that Bush wants a 'bogyman' and he still has OBL. It wont be over even if they get OBL. There are plenty of targets still out there. "And another bottom line is that the little girl that was killed in that airstrike doesn't seem to matter to Americans." I don't know why you think so. And, I have now read a couple of news releases and there are other children that have died from subsequent related engagements. Its not like there is a battle field, so there are bound to be such things. It is sad and it matters.
