I'm a simple guy, and I generally understand things that are clearly written, or clearly spoken... but I'm not a mindreader. (So, I can't know what is NOT written or NOT spoken... nor always correctly interpret what is confusing or unclear.) What you perceive as 'word games' is generally just me trying to find out exactly what someone is saying... trying to be more precise when there is doubt or confusion. Nothing more.
