I have never supported the Rush L approach to communication. There is as much propoganda and unwarranted character assassinaion on his program as there is anywhere on the left wing. He is an arrogant bully and I don't trust him (note: I haven't seen one of his programs in about ten years, so I leave room for being wrong if he has changed).

Bush has never been a great orator and I have always figured him to be 'handled'.

"That is not an appeal to reason. It's a call to fear."

Until we demand more of ourselves and our representatives it becomes only a matter of picking from among the 'lesser evil'... the evil that will champion our side. Personally I don't believe in such things.

That leaves only one course. Determine through reasoned discourse what is right and decent according to conscience and can be founded on principle, then fight for it. I guarantee when enough people agree to that, we will have decent and honorable representatives, deserving of our reverence to champion any good cause. Why should we agree to support anything less?

The only reason I have seen is because we registered on the blue team or the red team and have lost all sense of cause other than loyalty to a banner.
