I don't think it's Bernanke. We may be approaching the moment of truth wrt to the deficits. Maybe not.

Nut it's just a matter of time. Guys your age are going to be screwed.


Actually, I am more worried about China's debt. Its China that is fueling the global expansion, not the US. In fact, Bush has lucked out that China reached a critical mass and was ready to grow their economy.

While we know they are overextended, we don't know for sure by how much. Every time the world tries to corner them on this issue they have failed. If China's economy goes into 'foreclosure', the world will be in serious trouble.
