And I don't think the country is conservative. As I said in another post, I think most people are "independent". They are looking for a functional, sensible pragmatic government. Not ideology but competency. Bush sold them a bunch of crap, and many are rebelling. It's not a done deal that the Dems will win in November... they need to have a specific message. I got a great letter from a Dem Senate candidate from Minnesota today... of course looking for a contribution. I may send her a few bucks.
