Thanks for posting the good MVK news. Most welcome on a day like today. I hope you held your shares, Frank (and others who posted on it here). Message 21395242 fp investor's idea of TS (Tenaris, the acquiring company) posted 4/'05 was (and maybe still is) the cat's meow, imo. =g= I'm holding on. ---- Buyout offer today also for THX. Have held shares of that one since '00. ============================= Surprise gains in a couple of minor positions don't make up for losses in bigger positions elsewhere. Still, one counts one's blessings.

Wow, that's a premium. $65 is also 3 dollars more than the all time high. I'll bet the CEO is excited. And sold for cash - that's a tax hit, but all the risk of another equity goes away.

Nice to see THX yesterday with a hostile bid and today's takeout of MVK with a very nice premium. At these prices, expect alot more to come. One morning we'll wake up and see CNQ or ECA gone at a nice premium. Its coming but it will happen after hours and you'll never get back in. Pick you horses and ride um.. Patience CC
