My guess is the vast majority doesn't think about politics except just before an election (if then). And they get 90% of their info from campaign ads... thus the success of swiftboating


I guess I see them forming opinions but not within a political context. You don't have to be political to have strong political considerations. They would never bother with a forum like this one.

In any case, there are a lot of people who voted for Bush twice. That, in and of itself, is a huge statement about this country's politics and its belief system.
