I think they just use male trees, don't they? That's what they do with most trees that have pesky fruits. It's one reason, I believe, that pollen problems are so bad- the planting of male trees means a lot more pollen in the air. Now I am telling you this from memory- I didn't look it up like I normally do, so I could be wrong.
