Yep, I've been looking to buy a X2 for a long time now and waiting for that price drop. If the last price increase were a 10% decrease instead I might have jumped at a $270 X2 3800+ instead of getting that same processor at under $170 a couple of months later. I don't know what that translates to in wholesale pricing but AMD definitely left some money on the table for the buyers like me that would have jumped on a X2 price drop in the past. Now it is possible that when the price drops come I'll get a 4400+ instead of the 3800+ taking advantage of the price drop but if the price doesn't drop quick enough I'll just grab a cheaper processor that did drop...
