Yep I can see that. IIRC, there were plenty of leftist positions taken in the thread, including some form of universal health care. I don't remember all of them, and I don't feel like bringing up posts to prove it. I just thought the thread (at the time I looked at it) was a good, honest attempt to unify a center-left party philosophy, something that the Dems could use. Tenchusatsu

Eliminating special interest legislation, balanced budget, moving social issues to state and local level, energy conservation, dealing with illegal immigration... Yep, all very leftist policies. Yep I can see that. You know I think its rather hopeless trying to have a reasonable conversation with a conservative ideologue. There is no flexibility at all to their argument. Its why I think this country will become more divided.
