Rove is proven guilty. It's proven he outed Plame and lied about it. His whole defense was that "I forgot" and it's unlikely Fitzgerald believed him. More likely, Fitzgerald sees a stronger case against someone else who was more responsible for the leaking plan. Also, don't assume Rove won't be indicted. Or that he's not flipping and ratting out one of his brethren to avoid prison himself. In the past month the buzz is that Fitzgerald is targeting Dick Cheney, the biggest crook of all in the White House. But Rove will get his just deserts. He will not be allowed to get away with all the fraud he has committed.
