"so you dont view anti-gouging laws as government price controls?"

You have provided nowhere near enough information to have an intelligent discussion, nor am I that interested in it. Here is your original post that was interjected while Buddy was trying to understand my post on another subject.

"what ever happened to the free market?"

"This allows Governor Bush to call up the National Guard and put in place laws against price gouging."

Don't have time to get in depth on capitilism nor the interest to dissect jeb bush's position on Foloridian issues. I don't think the gas companies gouged, nor do I think the gov't should set prices. If individual station owners are or were GOUGING then I think it is ok to look out for the citizens of Florida and make sure they are not getting RIPPPED OFF.

If you think otherwise, good for you. Don't want to change your mind. My guess is that we are almost exact opposites on most issues effecting Americans, and in general I am for less gov't control and taxation and trusting the people to solve their own problems. Other than the immigration issue I feel very similar about our country and our problems as President Bush. Terrorism is by far the biggest threat we (and the world) face and he has the balls to take it on.
