Kennedy of course is lying about how much he took. He took much more. One who was taking the prescribed amount of 1 ambien a day would not be an addict. BTW, the other drug in his system was also for sleeping... • Phenergan is also used to cause sedation (sleep), to assist in controlling postoperative pain, to control nausea and vomiting (especially after surgery), and to prevent motion sickness.
