All they know, unfortunately, is that now they can install Windows on a Mac. After several hours of installing, they realize that not everything works. Who do you think they're going to blame. I, and others, brought up this point when bootcamp was announced. My daughter bought a MBP to get away from Windows and she's happy. Many that are buying these machines to run Windows will be disappointed if everything doesn't work glitch free like we Mac users have been preaching for years. Windows users are used to things not working. They're not spoiled like Mac users, where everything just works. It wasn't until Windows XP (ok, Windows 2k for corporate users) that windows users didn't have to reboot on a daily basis. They've been accustomed to call customer support for whatever, and the answer is always "reboot the system". More often than no, that solves the problem, though temporarily. The permanent solution then became, if something happens, "reboot". Oh, and downloading drivers is a skill that most Windows users have mastered from doing it so frequently. There's a conspiracy among computer makers to ship systems with old drivers, even if it was just built. Updating drivers isn't something the manufacturers want to deal with that could fail their quality control tests, so they save that honor for their customers. So, doing Windows things on a Mac will be no different than any other PC, and maybe a bit better. Plus you have a nicer piece of hardware, and a backup system that works if you need it. Or it may become your primary system of choice in time. This may be one Trojan Horse you may grow to like.
