One thing I learned from living in Houston: beware the differences in Spanish usage in Latin America. A word may be perfectly benign in Costa Rica, and a terrible insult in Mexico or Guatamala or El Salvador, etc.

Thanks.........I'll have to look to the meaning within the context if I ever encounter its usage. Since there seems to be a discrepancy, I think using one's name when addressing him or her is more appropriate.
