Slider......do you think the US dollar can stage more than a "dead cat bounce" without much higher US interest rates? What about the horrendous US trade and budget deficits and the massive US unfunded liabilities??? If they don't raise substantually who will actually hold or fund our debt and deficits? What about a possible massive US dollar devaluation in regard to the Chinese currency to cure the "out of control" trade deficit? Like a "3rd world" nation....don't we need much higher interest rates to entice the world to "fund" us" with these threats looming???? Otherwise.... Helicopter Ben WILL continue to print money and this selloff in Gold/Palladium/Silver is a buying oppurtunity in the long-term bull stemming from the irrepairable US dollar? NO????? Rogue

To be fair he wrote this almost a month ago BEFORE Bernarke's explicitly strong anti inflation statements, which have roiled the U.S. and world markets and precious metals ever since. Rather than throwing stones, it would be more helpful to read about your present viewpoints. Where do we go from here?
