I heard say that Prime minister al Maliki only had 5 minutes notice that the President had arrived. I have to say that President Bush probably wouldn't have done that to any other leader. It just seems a bit out of step with protocol.


It does send the message that they don't feel certain that nobody in al Maliki's inner circle is a double agent. But then, I'm sure that al Maliki himself doesn't know it, or if he does, he knows that there are some double agents.
