Can only speak about personal experience Lane3. I don't find this attitude to be an "article of faith" or prevalent among my conservative friends. In fact I met most of them when I was very active in PTA while my kids were in school.

Their/our only concern was working in concert with administration, teachers and others to help our school system be the very best it could be. And we succeeded pretty well as students test scores place it in the top 5 school systems in our state at the time.

All I am saying is that blanket statements like this would be more credible if they were backed up with facts or statistics. And I do really wonder where CB got the idea and why she emphasized the word "bad" by adding a capital "B?" Maybe she was talking about the religious right and the fact that many send their kids to private school?

Maybe I'm just not meeting that kind of conservative?

Has nothing what so ever to do with chips.

it's an article of faith among many Conservatives that public schools are Bad Things and education was better back in the Good Old Days.
