Be sure to read the article in USA Today about the drought in Texas, LA and Mississippi.

>>>IMHO,Gore will be the candidate in '08 and global warming will be an important issue.<<<

It does appear that Gore is mad enough to pull off approaching the nomination more as a populist outsider, rather than an insider. It'd be a great way to grab the nomination.

The Gore contrast would cause people to wonder what America would have been like had the Supreme Court allowed Florida's votes to count.

Nothwithstanding the global warming issue, there'd be questions like:

* Would 9/11 have happened?
* Would the Afghanistan War have been more successful and OBL caught?
* Would we not be in Iraq and would Iraq's oil be on the market at fair rates?
* Would the nation have advanced more with alternative energies?
* Would there have been more success with Israeli-Palestinian issues?
* Would other nations in the world have more respect for America?
* Would the dollar be jeapordized by the Euro?
* Would technological advancements have continued similar to how they did with Clinton?
* Would our civil liberties be better preserved and protected?
* Would more folks have health care?
* Would the minimum wage have risen?
* Would there be a bridge to nowhere in Alaska?

Lots of questions to contrast!
