Are you using Opera? I had a problem with menus looking like that in Opera on iHub and had to jump through major hoops to fix it. I was able to replicate the problem with some very simple and very correct HTML and sent it to them, but never heard back from them and last I checked the problem still existed.

It's in its handling of tables that use percentages to specify column width.
