Interesting two pieces over the past two days suggesting the front runners for the Rep nomination in 08 are much more serious about global warming than the present occupant of the oval office.

The NYTimes has a piece on a speech Guiliani gave in the last day or two emphasizing the need to address global warming issues and Steve Clemons has an interestingly long, somewhat rambling piece, on two events he attended/chaired in NYC. One for John McCain and the second for George Soros. McCain apparently is much stronger on the global warming issues than Bush. (Clemons doesn't mention McCain's positions on global warming but he's certainly better than Bush. A redefinition of the proverbial low bar.)
