From Asia, to Africa, to South America, to Antartica, I am not sure how one could argue against the facts that glaciers are disappearing. Call it global warming or call it pollution from man, but know that our actions are changing the planet, and not for the better. Your argument would basically be that the glaciers, which have been on Kilimanjaro for 12,000 years, have been disappearing over the past 100 simply by random chance and not by, at least in a large part, the actions of mankind? I would find this argument extraordinary if in fact that is what you are saying. If current climatic conditions persist, the legendary glaciers, icing the peaks of Africa's highest summit for nearly 12,000 years,* could be gone entirely by 2020.* news.nationalgeographic.com
