Bush basks in the glow of 60% disapproval ratings? You have to be kidding. What a rightwing propaganda piece. Bush will be luck if he's ever over 35% approvals again. He has botched Iraq badly and has failed us and lied to us on every single major issue, bar none. This RNC attempt to put lipstick on apig and roll out the same old wedge issue BS is disgusting. It won't work. They have gone to the well on that far too many times. Also, going to Iraq is no big deal. He secretly flies in with the entire US military as his bodyguard, spends two hours at the airport then flies out again. It's not like he saw a glimpse of the real Iraq, nor talked to its people. In fact, the report is that the Iraqi leaders were mortified by Bush showing up. Bush is extremely unpopular in Iraq and the leaders there don't want to be seen in the same room as him.
