Would you be happier if Israel went on the rampage and left nothing but piles of skulls, plugged wells, and salted soil? I'm not talking about what makes me happy. The end point that I make is that Israel, being an exclusionary, disciminatory country (Jews from Argentina can become Israeli citizens while non-Jews from occupied territories cannot) should not have US support. If they want to fight their neighbors rather than welcome them as equals - including immigration ability - let them. But it's not America's fight, and the country violates many American values, primarily the idea that all men (Jew or non-Jew) are created equal.
