I'm not talking about what makes me happy.

The end point that I make is that Israel, being an exclusionary, disciminatory country (Jews from Argentina can become Israeli citizens while non-Jews from occupied territories cannot) should not have US support. If they want to fight their neighbors rather than welcome them as equals - including immigration ability - let them. But it's not America's fight, and the country violates many American values, primarily the idea that all men (Jew or non-Jew) are created equal.
