The nation supports Kerry/Murtha over Bush/Cheney on the war. But this will be a fierce debate and expect the RNC and Rove to come out smearing and smearing and lying about Murtha and Kerry especially. More smear campaigns against Silver Star winning war heros. And Murtha is more than that, he's the top Marine in our government. Boy do Bushies hate the fact that almost no military leaders come to their defense. It terrifies them. So smear-smear-smear.

Maybe the Democrats could win this fall if they got a backbone and said elect us and we will pull the U.S. out of Iraq as quickly as possible. Win or lose, at least they would distinguish themselves from the internationalist Republicans and provide people an option regarding the future of the country.
