Additionally, it would be bad business sense to allocate conroes based on sales of p4's. There are oem's who target the high end only, for example; so they'd be forced to buy p4's to sell them to the channel, or change the nature and image of their products to conform, or else stop doing business with Intel altogether. Or else Intel would have to administer these allocations on a per customer basis. I think OEM's and retailers are fed up enough from having endured years of bending to Intel rules and blackmail; of having had intel effluent injected up their noses in february and march, only to have it devalued 60% in one stroke... and would probably say no to the slightest suggestion of having to sell p4's to get CONrows. And they'd be only half-bluffing ;-)
