That's cuz Exxon doesn't have a vested interest in asteroids.

That may be why nothing is being done, but it sure doesn't explain why there is no clamoring for action. What's the Sierra Club's position on asteroids? When is Gore's asteroid movie coming out? Where are the editorials? What is the UN doing? The lack of buzz is certainly not because Exxon doesn't have a vested interest in asteroids.
