I think that each of you has a point. I understand well the problem you mention with interview quotes. But I also understand that many a truth is spoken in an interview where movies are vetted and sanitized. So neither really tells us what Gore thinks. Now that is the voice of very, very serious skepticism. No way to know what anyone thinks. I'm not there yet. I think folk can be held accountable for their comments/statements/writings, etc. But in order to hold them accountable, one has to read/view things they have as much control over producing as possible. If you suspect they are always deceptive, the methodology is a great deal different.
