You're right. Think I'll call WHO and ax them to make the number 145, 731.
Then doubling will be 291,462, more or less, cuz I did it in my head. Very pretty numbers.

Neither Hansen nor Nature is the source for those numbers. WR's reference to Hansen had to do with a different question. Nature was one publication that reported the WHO's study. WHO is the source. That it was published in Nature is incidental.

Perhaps we are talking past one another. One of the links in the WR post I read, went to the text of a 60 minutes interview with James Hansen of NASA. I was referring to that.
