I think that with the old pricing expectations, 2x1 MB made sense. In the new pricing environment, these don't make very much sense.

I wonder, though what will happen with Rev G. There would not be problem with 2x1MB, die-size-wise, but L3 would provide better bang for the buck (since it is shared). I wonder if L3 will appear first in Rev G or Rev H.
