Reuters - Wed Jun 14, 3:13 PM ET

WASHINGTON - President George W. Bush acknowledged on Wednesday that the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where three detainees committed suicide, has damaged the U.S. image abroad and said it should be shut down. But he said a plan for relocating the prisoners was needed first and he also was awaiting a Supreme Court decision about the forum for handling detainee cases.

"the liberal press gave churchill a free pass and went after coulter."

Ward Churchill had zero exposure outside a small segment of academia until the right wing bloggers started frothing at the mouth over his statements. Ann, on the other hand, has had national exposure for years. So you cannot equate the two at all.

the liberal press gave churchill a free pass and went after coulter.

Of course you are lying. Churchill was pretty much condemned for his words my the mainstream media back when the incident happened. The only difference between the MSM and rightie press is that the MSM has moved on while the right press is stuck, reproducing article after article on this nothing guy. Its another sign of your disease.

But so that you can't say the MSM is not condemning Churchill's words, here are some recent editorials:
