I am sure he is a grand young man, and I bet the other young man is too. Most young people give me hope for the future. Of course the young man sitting probably gives me more hope than the young man who wrote the essay, because as I said, we have different visions for and of America- but that's a good thing. It keeps out country vital to have people with different ideas- but it's negative (imo) if we demonize each other for our differences. I hope we can disagree about ideas without making global judgments. That's really all my posts have been about here- even if I did have a very visceral reaction to that first post of yours. I believe in difference- it's something I cherish about America, but I really do think the bitterness between the political "sides" needs to stop- or at the very least we have to work to lessen it. Does that make sense to you?
