Bush needs to ask what is it that we are there for? We're building the world's largest embassy in Baghdad. Why do we need that kind of campus in Iraq? We're building several large military bases in Iraq. Why? Obviously it's to take over Iraq. Use it as a foot hold to push an agenda through the middle east.

If the Iraqi Army was properly funded prepared and trained, they could stand up in months. We've been there for years now. Another Bush lie is, When the Iraqis stand up we will stand down. Bush does not intend to fund and arm the Iraqi troops. Then how will they stand up? They don't have tanks, helicopters, Hummers, machine guns, aircraft, bombs etc. These are the tools that you need to have for a functioning army. It costs billions of dollars to fund, equip, train and support an army. But if you don't fund it, it will never happen.

That's the Bush plan. Under fund the Iraqis. Make a show of the troops being trained. But in the mean time build bases and a huge embassy. The policy seems to be designed to not help the Iraqis take control of the situation.

The real question that must be answered by the Bush administration is "What is your plan?" I have to laugh when I hear the wing nuts on these pages saying that the demohacks don't have a plan.
