I have always wondered what it's like.

It's pretty isolated, so it has a small town feel that you just don't find in most coastal resorts. The barrier island (Port Aransas) has nice sand beaches and the amenities that college students on spring-break want, but in a much less crowded atmosphere than L.A. or Florida or South Padre Island.

You can get both Mexican recipe seafood, and Cajun.
