You said it, i didnt. I think about this a lot. In the end we might have to have the will to do this once again. Problem is there was overwhelming support back in the 40s and now we are at 50/50 at best. This is more or less what Chamberlain faced when he tried to appease hitler rather than go to war. I am all for compromise with iran. They have not yet crossed the line or at least where i place that line. Al Quaeda and the sunni wahabis have and will continue to. You cant negotiate with them.
