/John- I'm loving this tournament, on the west coast, we have a 6am game...what a great way to start the day! That last goal by Equador today was a thing of beauty, it was like watching Montana hit Rice on a deep route. Equador's passing ability and ball control is just unbelievable. The Germans have done a great job, the stadiums I've seen are spectacular. I haven't yet seen the refurbished stadium from the '36 Olympics, but it is supposed to be really something to see. Wish I were going to be in Argentina to watch the end of this tournament with you...that is going to be a great experience.

i really enjoyed the england/trinidad match up today but was pissed that the brits managed to pull it out. i would have loved to see trinidad get that one. i'm a biggie for the underdog. just got to see part and parcels of the sweden/paraguay game inbetween coming into the house to get warmed up. we were working on the workshop and had a gale force wind blowing. shit, the things you gotta do when you're retired. was a time when we hired someone to do this kinda crap .... but that wasn't nearly as much fun <g>
