If I heard that joke on stage from a standup comic with some talent for timing and delivery, it could be funny. The way Coulter does it and the context of pointing out how much she delights in offending others, it's just cheap and shallow in my book. "I pissed them off so badly with my first insult that they didn't even care about the next one! Hah!" - not funny for me. Some pearls are in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. That one is too deep in the fertilizer for me to say it's shiny.
