Don't confuse stupid nasty pranks with widespread election fraud, that is the conspiracy to deny tens of thousands of your opponents voters from voting or having their votes counted. That's exactly what Bushies in Ohio did, maybe even hundreds of thousands of Kerry votes stolen. This should have been investigated, but the GOP congress never polices its own criminals. Completely shameful and a clear and present threat to our American democracy.

The difference between the tire slashing and the fraud in Ohio and Florida is huge. The tire slashing was done by a splinter group of partisans. They were not organized by anyone in the Democrat party. It was clearly a violation of the law, and I would hope the tire slashers spend some jail time. The fraud in Ohio and Florida was perpetrated by the highest Republican officials responsible for fair and accurate elections. The Secretaries of State! They were aided and abetted by political operatives all the way down to the local precincts. They even bussed in political operatives to heckle and shut down the Florida recount as mandated by the Florida Supreme Court and Florida law. Only a true rabid right wing nut case would try to draw a correlation between these widely differing crimes. Like comparing a pea to the ocean and jumping up and down exclaiming that they're both green so they must be the same thing! Orca
