The Republican party is splitting substantially now, just like the Dems in their own way. I see the old school conservatives like Will, the Bush-Cheney-Rove-Rush-Coulter-Fox conventional modern liberal-bashers, and the wing that is fed up with all the extremism and wants an old-time Rockefeller Republican with principled moderation again.

Since Bush has left the succession issue wide open, those three factions will do battle between now and summer 2008, and maybe after.

As for the Dems, they were never that organized to begin with.

"I would have resigned from the club... "

Do you feel the same about Michael Moore and his following, or other famous left wing attack dogs?
