LOL :>)

Don't get your hopes up about the kid. Rock was big when mine was small; she would start fussing, I'd crank up the radio, and she would just mellow right out. I think the Airplane was best, but all SF music did it for her.
She even knew the Who, when she could barely talk. On one of their songs, I would ax her, "Who's that?" And she would say "Who?" Smart kid.
But now, rap and reggae. Half not even music. Won't even consider anything that isn't. I couldn't even get her to listen to Simon and Garfunkle. I'm hoping college exposes her to melodies and understandable words.
I knew there was a code phrase in one of her songs, referring to sex. Axed her for a translation. "Don't know; we haven't figured it out."
Now that's music.
And the worst? She has an Istick for her IPod; converts it to wifi to play thru stereos and car radios. So, now that we go places in her car...
Have you ever listened to 4 hours of utter crap? Once in a while, I actually heard a song.
