I float between teams, too, Scott. That's OK. The Mavs are my team today .....

.......... Then I move to Italy, England, Holland, and Argentina for the World Cup.

I'm simply a bandwagon Cub fan. Baseball basically bores me these days, though--what with all the steroids and protracted playoffs. The destruction of the Pirates didn't help my interest in baseball.

Basketball and soccer are my sports for passionate interest.

I was really into hockey for a while. But I think that was driven by Mario and Jarimir. Can you believe it--but my two cars have license plates: "GOAL66" and "GOAL68." Seriously. They look real smart.

Oh yeah. A great tennis match can get me pumped. Wasn't Nadal great on Sunday against Federer?

I like to support teams that play good fundamental baseball.

I am a fan of baseball. I love baseball. I watch two or three baseball games each day. I generally root for the original baseball teams like the Cardinals, Cubs, Red Sox, Yankees, Tigers, White Sox, etc. I give the teams that have moved like the Giants, Dodgers, and Braves a pass.

I can't relate to the Diamond Backs, Marlins, Devil Rays, Toronto, etc.

I like what Omar Minaya has done with the NY Mets. Willie Randolph is a real pleasant surprise.
