Bolivia Lack of corruption is key, I don't think it matters overall from an investment perspective if the government is left or right leaning. Natural resources can be a boon or a curse to a country. Iraq has not fared well for example, while North Sea Oil saw the UK's Thatcher years through some troublesome times. How does the investment look with silver at plus $20 per oz? I'm not just thinking of the strength of the metal but also the possible weakness of the USD.
