Petz, Joe, et al, re: how the contest will handle EPS and one-time charges

I have changed the wording on the guidance page to clear up this issue. It is now as follows:

AMD: "The value used for the EPS category will be based on whatever AMD reports in their "CONSOLIDATED STATEMENTS OF OPERATIONS" under "Net income (loss) per common share" based on the diluted number of shares, which value, so far as we understand, INCLUDES all one-time charges/gains or other possible adjustments."

INTEL: "The value used for the EPS category will be based on whatever Intel reports in their "CONSOLIDATED SUMMARY INCOME STATEMENT DATA" under "DILUTED EARNINGS PER SHARE", which value, so far as we understand, INCLUDES all one-time charges/gains or other possible adjustments."

guidance page updated:
epscontest.com

BTW, the previous version (the one you quoted) was also included on the entry form. That has been changed to the above version as well.

Regards,

JJ
