you'll find plenty of religious liberals who aren't happy with this, as well as some atheists who are tired of what they see as "atheist bashing" Presumably they're cross at being called liberals <g> Personally, if someone (especially of Coulter's ilk) called me a 'godless liberal', my only response could be "And your point is?" Not that I regard myself as wildly liberal, but it's not exactly insulting. And godless is a simple statement of fact (AFAIK). However, I think Dale's point is that she meant it to be extremely insulting, plus divisive and irritating. That's not especially worthy.
