The truth of it is that it is not about what the widows have said. It is that they have 1) declined to take the government shut up money, 2) had the audacity to criticize our policy in Iraq. As fas as I can see it is the principle of the thing. Some people believe that such a person must be punished, or they will set an example that others will follow, and hell we might eventually end up with a participatory democracy. (horror of horrors) It also is not about the fact that they have received a ton of press coverage, because they haven't.

There are five 9-11 widows. Coulter tries to claim she's only attacking three of them who are democrats. but she's really attacking all 9-11 widows, widowers and families. The other two voted for Bush in 2000 which totally exposes Coulter's entire big lie that they are partisans. And even if they were all dems or even left-wingers, who cares? They are 100% right and Coulter is 100% wrong. Plus their widowhood in no way stops A-holes like Coulter from smearing them non-stop. The 9-11 widows only care about two things: finding out what went wrong and who was responsible (Bushies are terrified of that because it shows they were AWOL on terrorism) and fixing the problems so they don't happen again (which every American should support, but for which Bush were given D and F grades five years after 9-11).
