Dont you realize that is President Bush's way of doing things. He does his LEVEL BEST to involve everyone in these types of decisions but sadly when it comes to something as touchy feely as SS Congress just didnt want to forward ANY ideas, rather some sat back and shot down his. I said at the time, its TOO LATE for me but if I were say 40 years old I would DEMAND privatization. So long as the Govt can get THEIR HANDS on YOUR MONEY, Social Security IS NOT SAFE and I predict, many of you on this thread will never see A DIME of YOUR MONEY. Some future Congress will come up with a REASON to deny you YOUR BENEFITS. jdn
