Look at the bright side - the whole hate-talk lefty-bashing rightwing movement has utterly failed to build a lasting majority in the electorate. These hate-talk programs and books only reach a few percent of the US population, despite the attention they get in the media for their antics.

That's why using life's great Ignore button works just fine for me. I don't need to hang out on that corner of the playground.

It is now okay to express hatred. It is now okay to advocate that some people should be killed - put to death - pre-emptively.

For a fairly recent example of how this process can play out, refer to Germany circa 1933.

Or going farther back and closer to home, Northerners vs Southerners circa 1860.
