Sorry, but I see that as overkill. Its particularly onerous considering that there is growing evidence that inflation is not a problem. So maybe he is setting things up.. or maybe he is a fool. We will know in the "fullness of time". They are worried about inflation......a legitimate concern. However, bringing it up every day and roiling the markets will not stop inflation. There are other ways that are more effective. Besides, Bernanke is a Bush appointee. And we've seen how other Bush appointees perform on the job. We will certainly miss Greenspan... even with his mistakes. He's already gone.
