How ironic. It is you who is a slavish admirer of real police states who are anti-human rights.

China is an example. They sent Chinese slave (prisoner) labor to Sudan to build a pipeline while Sudan was enslaving black southern Sudanese. China's big selling point in negotiating oil deals with African dictatorships is that they couldn't care less about the human rights policies of the country's they deal with. In fact, they view human rights abusing countries shunned by westerners as a market opportunity.

As far as American military power, that force has freed hundreds of millions of people from tyranny.
